LANGLADE COUNTY, Wisconsin (WAOW) - The effects of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continue to be felt by many populations across the country and Wisconsin. One demographic group in particular is the elderly population who are in assisted living facilities, nursing homes or hospitals. The pandemic has restricted and even restricted public access to these facilities for visits, ultimately discouraging older people from speaking to or seeing their loved ones.
