When most people think of the Marine Corps, they think of an elite war organization. What most don't think is how the Marine Corps fits into the information age and the ever-evolving operating environment of science and technology. Captain John Geldmacher, the technical information operations officer for the I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group (MIG), also holds the science, technology and experimentation officer's collateral ticket. Geldmacher joined the Marine Corps as an intelligence officer, but was selected for the Commander's Career Level Education Board (CCLEB).
