Twitter was expected to introduce a new Tip JAR functionality for its audio-only Spaces platform. The company later confirmed the addition of the feature, but now Twitter wants to add a tip button to individual profiles as well. A new button hidden in the Twitter app suggests that the feature might be just around the corner. Jane Manchun Wong, researcher at The Verge, unveiled the Tip Glass button, which is reportedly currently being tested prior to a full rollout. Twitter could soon offer a user profile tip that can be used to get paid users who have significant followers for their great tweets. Twitter is also experimenting with Super Follows, which allow members to bill for exclusive content from a creator.
