Twitter mulls adding a Tip Jar to user profiles
Twitter could soon offer a user profile tip that can be used to get paid users who have significant followers for their great tweets. HIGHLIGHTS Twitter has recently been experimenting with different ways it can enable its influencers to make money on the platform. The upcoming Twitter feature could include a Tip Jar that users can use to tip other users for their tweets. Twitter is also experimenting with Super Follows, which allow members to bill for exclusive content from a creator. App researcher Jane Manchun Wong found that Twitter is exploring features like tips to give other Twitter users the option to pay for their tweets.
