Data Scientists Collaboration created an innovation to the medical field using AI technology

Mr. Sudhir Allam, Senior Data Scientist, USA, worked with Mr. Ashok Kumar Reddy Nadikattu, Sr. Data Scientist from India, and invented an intelligent wearable device in the form of glasses. Scientists have mentioned that its capabilities are unique given its intended use. This smart wearable device is used to access electronic health records available in a cloud system. It has a built-in microprocessor that uses a low power wide area network that connects low bandwidth over long distances using low battery and bit rates. Most of the peripheral functions in the device are integrated into a Singer processor chip, e.g. B. the capacitive acquisition function, the LCD drive, the data acquisition or sensor subsystem, analog sensors such as heart rate monitors and EEGs.

With his AI expertise, Mr. Ashok has developed a smart device with extremely low power consumption. A PULPino microprocessor is integrated into the chip design. With this effectiveness, the development costs are also significantly reduced by integrating this open source microprocessor into the device. The clinician can use the frame attached controller to select the type of data to receive updates from the patient. It monitors variables such as temperature and displays electronic patient records on a monochromatic segment LCD. Hence, it runs on a light operating system like RTOS.

Mr Sudhir used his expertise to integrate a smart device with biosensors, which are vital in detecting diseases like the coronavirus by using variables like a person's body temperature and heart rate to determine if they have the disease after the Has vaccination. A non-medical practitioner does not have to be around the patient as the sensors use remote measurement sensors to measure. The UI framework (User Interface) is another essential subsystem. How a person interacts with and uses this intelligent wearable device is critical. To minimize complexity, interactions need to be as intuitive as possible. The most intuitive user interface built into the device is capacitive touch detection. Various capacitive user interfaces can be integrated, e.g. B. a button or a touch screen on the LCD. Buzzer, LED, and vibration motors are components that improve user notification. PWM (pulse width modulation) is required to control these components. Pulse width modulation is used to monitor LED brightness and implement various feedback functions.

Experts suggest that smart wearable devices will benefit the US and other countries when it comes to sales in the technology and electronics market. This product is in demand in the market because of the efficiency in accessing electronic health records in real time. It will also lower costs in the US healthcare sector as it reduces the logistics for healthcare for patients in remote areas. This smart wearable technology was developed and used in hospitals. It has the positive benefit of making work easier and more convenient for healthcare providers. Mr Sudhir's contributions to this smart device have been particularly outstanding for the health departments. In addition to disease prevention, this handheld device can also save money that is wasted on activities such as involving people to conduct health checks and computing. More importantly, these funds can be reallocated elsewhere within the budget allocations, for example for training or infrastructure development. This doesn't just apply to healthcare. Other sectors are now cutting costs and increasing productivity using this portable technology. The experts are currently invited to various international conferences where this invention is presented on a broad front.
