Inauguration of the Center of Excellence Supply Chain Management in cooperation with Northern University Bangladesh and Techno India University

The Center of Excellence Supply Chain Management was jointly opened by Northern University Bangladesh and Techno India University in the auditorium of Northern University Bangladesh on October 17, 2021, according to a press release.

The program was led by Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain, Vice Chancellor of the NUB, while Professor Dr. AYM Abdullah, Chairman of the NUB Trust, honored the ceremony as the main guest. Dr. Goutam Sengupta, Vice Chancellor of Techno India, was connected to the virtual program as a special guest. Research Director Professor Dr. Ovijit Mittro, Residence Director Dr. Shama Prasad Bapari, Professor of the IIT Dr. Kunal Kanti Ghosh were also guests from Techno India University.

Chief Visiting Professor Dr. AYM Abdullah said building a skilled workforce was a huge challenge in order to thrive the corporate sector. To meet this challenge, the qualified supply chain is of great importance in this competitive era. It creates a good relationship between supplier and consumer and plays a pioneering role to get the highest profit. In this context, the Excellence Supply Chain Management jointly initiated by Northern University Bangladesh and Techno India University has launched various courses of study. In addition to students from Northern University Bangladesh, students from other universities also have the opportunity to improve their performance through these courses.

Commodore M. Monirul Islam (AD), Registrar of the NUB and Director of Supply Chain Management gave the opening speech. Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam, Dr. Mamun Habir, Professor of the Independent University, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the NUB, Treasurer of the NUB, Managing Director of the Bangabandhu Research Center, deans of the faculties, heads of the departments and lecturers of business administration.Among others, departments and students were present.
